1ePoint has officially kicked off!

1epoint is implemented by partners from Spain, Greece and Cyprus, aiming to upgrade the skills of SME’s owners and employees of the retail sector in the areas of business, financial management and digital marketing.

 All three partners, ITML, Alpha Center and IHU (GR) are happy to be part of this project and look forward to starting and assist SMEs owners to set their presence online and overcome any issues faced.

Transnational partners meeting in Kavala, Greece

On the 28th of November 2022, the International Hellenic University hosted in Kavala's Campus the 2nd Transnational partners meeting of the 1ePoint project. Partners from Spain and Cyprus where present while they discussed the already achieved outputs of the project and set the bases for the following activities. This meeting was important as it set the bases for the following trainings and multiplier events under the interesting activities of 1ePoint!

ITML had the privilege to host the 1epoint project consortium in Cyprus, Larnaka, on the 20th of April. The meeting was centered around discussing the final steps of the 1e-point project, and ITML was present to provide valuable insights into the upcoming tasks.

We were impressed by the high level of participation and engagement from our partners, who shared invaluable insights and ideas. Their commitment to the project's success was evident, and we commend them for their collaborative efforts.

Last transnational Project Meeting in Madrid

ITML participated to the final 1epoint Partners meeting in Madrid, Spain, on 19 May 2023.
The primary objective of the meeting, revolved around discussing the concluding tasks of the 1e-point project. ITML was present and provided crucial insights on the project website and Application.
We were deeply impressed by the exceptional level of active involvement and enthusiasm exhibited by our partners, who generously shared priceless perspectives and innovative suggestions. Their unwavering dedication to the triumph of the project was clearly evident, and we wholeheartedly commend them for their remarkable collaboration.

1ePoint Multiplier Event in Kavala implemented by IHU 

Presenting the European research project "1ePoint" for digital marketing and e-shop and the training action that we will implement at the Research Laboratory of Intellectual & Industrial Property of the Department of Intellectual & Industrial Property, of the Accounting and Finance Laboratory of IHU in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Kavala and the Commercial Associations of our region. Warm thanks to the Presidents of the institutions for their support and cooperation. Congratulations to Prof. Kalliopi Kalambouka and Dr. Electra Simitsis for the co-organization and joint implementation. We are honored by the presence of our dear colleagues and professors of IHU, representatives of the institutions of our region (Alexis Politis, Arch. Granas, Kostis Simitsis), and all the speakers at the conference (Markos Debas, Stavros Valsamidis, Vassilis Lemonidis, Yannis Koutras, George Michaelides, Suzi Mavrommati). Only through cooperation can we produce substantial work with a multiplier effect.

On the 19th of April at the University of Cyprus, The 1epoint multiplier event at Nicosia Cyprus was an incredible success, leaving an indelible mark on more than 30 attendees. From the moment the doors opened, there was an electric atmosphere of anticipation and excitement.  ITML Project managers shared their invaluable insights about the 1Epoint  Project, engaging the audience with thought-provoking discussions and innovative ideas. The event fostered a strong sense of collaboration with the attendance. As participants eagerly networked and exchanged knowledge, creating new partnerships and possibilities. We thank the Computer Science Club of UCY for attending the event. The event surpassed all expectations, leaving everyone inspired, motivated, and armed with the resources needed to make a lasting difference in their respective fields.

On the 19th of May 2023, European Integration and Training Centre ALPHA (Spain), in partnership with IOTAM (Cyprus) and International Hellenic University (Greece), participated at the closing event of the Erasmus+ Project „Tailored and simplified training for digital marketing and e-commerce according to the needs of SMEs“ (1ePoint), which main objective was to upgrade the skills of SME owners and employees of the retail sector in the areas of business, financial management and digital marketing. During the 1ePoint multiplier event in Parla (Madrid), the partners signed an Agreement for future collaborations and networking in the business, educational and social areas.

Implemented the 1epoint training in Greece (IHU). The Lab, under the administration of IHU, designed the training Programme for SMEs owners and employees of the retail sector. The training covered all features of business, financial, and digital marketing modules and digital marketing skills.

  • The training was implemented on the 20/03/2023 – 06/04/2023, in situ.
  • It lasted 6 days, with 4 hours per day (Monday- Thursday /17.00 pm – 21.00 pm)
  • 41 participated in total, in two (2) learning group

The 1ePoint 5-days training took place in Spain for owners and employees of small and medium enterprises, and members of Chambers of Commerce. There was great interest and that is reflected to the total of 52 participants that attended the training!
